We believe that access to nutritious food should be a basic human right, and we strive to make that a reality for those in need. By partnering with local organizations and volunteers, we are able to provide fresh produce and protein to those who need it most. The Abundant Acre started with a personal investment in a few blueberry bushes, a small garden, and
10 chickens and 2 roosters (you have to have predator warnings where we live). It takes 12 blueberry bushes to feed a family of 4 for a year and 3 chickens will provide enough eggs for a family of 4 for a year. In addition, this fall, we have arranged with a local swine farm to add pigs and
are working to add beef in the near future. As we continue to grow, the need for additional investment grows as well and we need your help. If you want to support our mission to provide fresh food to those in need, donations can be made by clicking below.
